Cross- stitch question 5 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Probably a dumb one, but anyway...

When I change colors on a pattern, am I supposed to tie off the thread in some way? Or do I just leave it hanging on the back and rethread the needle with that color when I use it further into the pattern?

Hope you can get what I mean from that garbled message. Spot the newbie eh!

The only dumb question is the one that is never asked. When you are finished with a color, run the needle and thread under about 4 stitches on the back. That will keep that thread secure. Let me know if you have any more questions and Welcome to the world of cross stitch!
Hugs,
Em
